We gathered at the Red Lion, Yardley Hastings, at 10.30am for coffee before we set off. As it stayed at -2 C all day once we got moving the views of the frost covered scenery were stunning. Our route took us past the back of the Cooke household, past the village sewage farm (nice!) and over the fields to Easton Maudit , past Oakfield and back over the fields to Yardley Hastings.
Lunch afterwards was very good and pretty prompt, which was impressive given that the pub was heaving with other folk who were eating too.
