Now in its eighth year this exciting event ran from January to March, at the Northampton Teamworks Indoor Karting Arena. The first heat started on Tuesday 23rd January with the Final on Tuesday 2nd April.

This year's walking weekend was in the Malvern Hills. We stayed right in the centre of Great Malvern, at the Abbey Hotel, which abuts the Priory itself, ideal both for those who wanted to walk and those who didn't, but wanted to see the local sights.

We congregated at the Old Cherry Tree, Great Houghton in time to get booted up for a 5-miler - across the fields, down to the flood plain, back to the village and then the 'dog-walk' on the made path around the pond near Brackmills.
