As it was an anniversary party (the anniversary of the date on our charter, even though the actual charter date is in January) we made this a black-tie event. And, in memory of our dear friend and founder-member Peter Moreton who had died 10 days before, President Phil asked us to wear 'loud' and 'overstated' ties. There are no prizes for guessing who won the award for the loudest, overstated bowtie ever seen - Gavin Ferguson
