Books4Home

Help us give Books into Children's Homes and inspire a love of reading.

Why we are asking YOU to Support Books4Homes

Books 4 Home is a community initiative designed to ensure that children have books of their own to read and enjoy at home. Research shows that children who grow up with books at home are more likely to develop strong reading skills, confidence in learning, and a lifelong love of reading. Many children have very few books in their homes, and this project aims to help address that gap.

The Rotary Club of St Ives has launched Books 4 Home with an initial goal of providing 200 books for children to take home and enjoy.

Can you help us to achieve our goal. If you can help us provide Children's Books, all you need to do is to contact Rotarian Christine Luckham by email at: cluckham@stivesrotarycambs.org.uk

How Books4homes Helps

Other ways you can HELP

The Rotary 200 Book Challenge

We aim to place 200 books into children’s homes in our Community. Rotarians, local businesses, and community supporters are invited to help reach this target through donations and sponsorship.

Sponsor a Book Box

Local businesses and organisations can support the project by sponsoring a Books 4 Home Book Box.

Each Book Box contains approximately 20 children’s books ready for distribution.

Suggested sponsorship: £100 sponsors a Book Box for 20 children.

If you can help us with Books4Life please email me on; cluckham@stivesrotarycambs.org.uk

I look forward very much to hearing from you.
