Thank You to The People of St. Ives and surrounding Villages for Donating 200 Christmas Shoeboxes for Moldova & Ukraine

The President, the Chair of our International Committee, Beccy Roberts, and members of the Rotary Club thank you for your amazing contribution to this year’s appeal.

With your help we were able to despatch 200 shoeboxes - seen here - to our contact Hugh Scudder at the Charity Christian Relief to Eastern Europe (cr2ee) , which left for Moldova on Saturday 29th November, followed by Ukraine.

The impact of these boxes to people suffering severe poverty in Moldova, and the terrible consequences of war in Ukraine will undoubtable bring moments of joy to them, and remind them that there is someone who cares about them!

I think we've got a bit more room. How about adding some of these!
