A "life education bus" is a mobile classroom, operated by charities like Coram Life Education, that visits primary schools to deliver health, well-being, and drug education.
Inside, children learn about topics such as the human body, healthy eating, and making good decisions in an age-appropriate and engaging way, often featuring a mascot like Harold the Giraffe. These programs are designed to give children the knowledge and confidence to make healthy life choices.
Here's what Owl Class in Yr 2 had to say about the visit.
"We got to learn about people's feelings.
The importance of having sleep food and drink.
Thank you for letting us see Harold the Giraffe and letting us know all about our body.
Thank you for letting us learn about how people can be sad, angry and happy at any time.
I enjoyed watching on the tv how to be kind.
Thank you for the stickers and for for letting us see the stars in the Life Bus."
