Club Social Evening Raises £600 for The Norris Museum "600 for 600" Appeal

.

On Tuesday 28th April the Rotary Club of St Ives held a fundraiser at The Norris Museum - in aid of The Norris Museum!  It was a social evening, with a “bring and share” buffet for members, partners and friends, including Mayor Julie.

The highlight being a talk on the museum and its latest projects by Director Claire and Community Officer Susan.  It is the 600th anniversary of the Chapel on the Bridge and the Museum is holding events to mark the occasion, including interactive resource box for all age groups.

The evening was a great success and we easily achieved the £500 originally pledged to the Museum.  Indeed, once the accounts were finalised, we had raised just over £600 and were able to donate a further £100 - hence “600 for 600”!
