Tuesday Club Meal and Speaker evening

At our evening speaker meeting on Tuesday 24th September, Jerry and Malachi will give their presentation to the Club and I expect it to be highly entertaining as the two have formed a great friendship - another bonus of RYLA! Sharon will be there to support them.

You will see from their presentation how much the boys enjoyed the experience and, I can tell you with confidence, that all three of them had a great time and felt it was a terrific learning experience - all the things RYLA sets out to achieve. However, Sharon was the star of the show as she completed all the challenges, and also enjoyed them, despite being well out of her personal comfort zone!

Jerry is a University student, the son of one of our own Club members, Janet; Malachi and Sharon are young "Care leavers" who are studying and working towards their chosen careers. 

Although our Club sourced the candidates and fully sponsored Jerry, Sharon was sponsored by RC Kettering and Malachi's sponsorship was shared between Northampton Club and the District Youth Projects Team.

Sharon gave her RYLA presentation to RC Kettering on Monday 19th August, with Jeanette and Aileen in attendance. Her presentation was nothing short of impressive!
