Dogs for Good assistance dogs support adults and children with a range of disabilities and also children with autism.
Our speaker Kirsten Pollock was the youngest member of the crew on “Spirit of Juno” in the Millennium, Round the World Yacht Race. At the age of 21 after a fall she became disabled with no movement in her legs and uses a wheelchair. She became the first disabled sailor to win the Cambs and Beds Regatta at Grafham Water in 2010
£15 per ticket to include evening meal of Cider Braised Pork Belly with Apple Mash & Mustard Cabbage. Followed by Poached Pears in Red Wine & Spices served with Chantilly Cream. Tea or coffee.
Bar available from 6.30pm.
Introductions 6.45pm. Meal at 7.00pm with Kirsten’s Talk followed by questions at 8.15pm
Raffle drawn 9.15pm.
