Walk Report
It was in fear and trepidation that we opened the curtains on the Thursday morning wondering what sort of walk we could have after the day previous being so wet and miserable. We need not have worried as the sun came out and we had a glorious morning in the warm sun.
Starting from the Althorp Coaching House pub, the band of nine proceeded along the main street and through the Churchyard and out onto the grass carriage drive. This is the direct link between Althorp House and Great Brington Church which the House Residents use on Sundays and special events.
Turning onto the road at the House boundary, we walked down to the Althorp West gate and then back across the fields to Great Brington, and out along the Little Brington road. Turning then across the Humps and Hollows (Ask Garry) to the Whilton road and back through the village to the pub for a good lunch.
