Bav Shah attended the club meeting on 11th February and gave an outline of his duties as High Sheriff. Originally from Luton, is now settled in Bedfordshire with his family. He attended Bedford Modern School and graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Real Estate Management. Bav served as President of the Nottingham Trent Students Union while qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor. Seeking new experiences, he spent a year in Australia working. Upon returning to the UK, he founded Business Property Solutions, a property consulting firm.
Bav is an active Rotarian involved in various community projects and has served as a governor for several educational institutions. He mentors students and holds advisory roles in local charities and RICS. As one of the youngest High Sheriffs of Bedfordshire, he aims to promote youth development and foster connections between generations, believing in mutual learning across ages and groups will enhance community engagement in Bedfordshire.
As he approaches the end of his year of office he has been impressed by the numbers of people who selflessly volunteeer and contribute to the running of numerous charities and suppport groups.within Bedfordshire area.
