Keech Hospice Visit

Members of the Club Visited the Hospice

The Club has cultivated a strong partnership with Keech Hospice for a considerable period. Recently, Club members had the opportunity to visit the Hospice in Luton and witness the meaningful work being carried out there. Keech provides free, specialised care for adults in Luton and Bedfordshire, along with support for children from Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Milton Keynes who are facing life-limiting illnesses.
The Hospice is a thoughtfully designed space that is bright, airy, and spacious, creating a warm and inviting environment. Its mission is to help both adults and children experience life free from pain and symptoms, enabling them to enjoy precious moments with family and friends, understand their situations, avoid unnecessary hospital admissions, and fully value the time they have.
Club members were particularly struck by the innovative methods of family bereavement support and noted that the care extends beyond the Luton hospice, reaching hospitals, schools, and family homes—wherever assistance is most needed. Our heartfelt thanks go to Sarah Phillips for hosting our visit and ensuring the group felt welcomed. Rtn Martin
