LOTS of Fun and LOTS of money raised for Charity at the Blues on March 25th!
Over 240 tickets were sold for the Charity event organised by the Rotary Club of Bedford Castle on March 25th and there was a real buzz in the Blues Marquee as TV Antiques celebrities Charlie Ross and Charles Hanson entertained us with stories of their lives in front of the television cameras and on rostrums around the world. Thanks to the generosity of the Two Charlies who gave their time without charge as well as the support of our donors including principal donor Old Road Securities Ltd., our guests, the Blues staff and the many local businesses, we raised over £13,000 for The Bedford Hospital Charity and Friends. This amazing sum will be match funded by the ever-supportive Harpur Trust, bringing the total donated to the Bedford Hospital Charity and Friends to over £26,000.
