Joel Beckett is a well known actor from the small screen, best known for playing the role of Lee, Dawn's fiancée, in the multi-award winning comedy classic The Office and for the role of Jake Moon in EastEnders.
Over the years Joel has been lucky enough to work alongside some the World's best loved actors and entertainers. From Tom Hanks, Elijah Wood and Hugh Laurie to Jonathan Price, Pauline Collins and Ricky Gervais to name but a few.
When not working in front of the camera, Joel can usually be found walking from one studio to another in the heart of London's Soho, where has been working as a voiceover artist since 2006. During his career, Joel has worked with almost every major advertising and production agency, alongside television companies, commercial directors and many big companies from the corporate sector. He has worked on countless projects for TV and radio, commercials, documentaries, films, corporate narration and TV promos and has no doubt convinced you to buy something you didn't really need!
Tonight he is here to give you an honest account of his experiences over the last 25 years, the good and bad, the ups and downs of life as a jobbing actor and give you a little insight into life on the square and a few tales of his brush with fame from the not so glamorous world of Television.
