Irene Grant Jones- 16 December 2014
Irene is based in Kempston with her accompanist husband, Tim, and has 5 children.
Her many recent performances have included the Messiah, La Boheme, Madame Butterfly, La Traviata and a host of others. She has also sung at the Proms in the Park at Bedford, with the London Gala Orchestra. Equally at home in the contemporary scene, Irene has performed many of the famous show songs and she is also a Singing Adjudicator for the British and International Federation of Music Festivals.
A degree in Drama, Dance and English Cultural Studies underpin her interest in poetry and she has composed over 200 poems, from serious to humorous.
