THE GRAND RAFFLE

The Grand Raffle is the Rotary Club of Bedford Castle annual major fundraising event. Each year the money raised has exceeded all expectations, setting a new benchmark for future initiatives. The atmosphere at the Fayre is very convivial, with a diverse group of attendees coming together for a common cause. The planning and organisation pays off, so that every aspect on the day runs smoothly. The combination of these elements helps to create an atmosphere of generosity and community spirit, which was reflected in the final fundraising totals.

The highlight of the day was the drawing of the winning raffle tickets which took place in the Main Arena. The draw was made by President Bryony Jo Doughty of the Kimbolton Castle Rotary Club and Dominic Mills President of the Rotary Club of Bedford Castle and which featured an array of exclusive prizes and experiences. Generous donations from local businesses and community members played a crucial role in the raffle’s success. 

By the end of the day, the event had raised a significant amount of money, far surpassing the original target. These funds will go a long way in supporting the organisation's mission and initiatives, making a tangible difference in the community.
