With the success of Cycle 4 Charity in 2005 we decided to hold the event again in 2006 as part of Solihull Festival.
The event took place in September and we were blessed with fine weather. Many people attended even if they were not on the sponsored cycle ride. This was because The Model engineers were giving train rides, there was a barbeque with help given from ladies from Inner Wheel, and other attractions.
The two main charities were Cure Leukaemia and the Foundation for Conductive Education. Staff from both organisations helped run the stalls. The Scouts and Guides built the rope bridge! Entertaiment through the day was from various performers mainly from local schools
