Our President announces her charity for this Rotary year.
Every year, we support a variety of deserving Charities. At a recent meeting, we had the pleasure of introducing Nick from Warwickshire Lowland Search and Rescue (https://www.warksar.org.uk) who will be this years Presidents Charity.
They are run by volunteers who go out in all weathers to search for vulnerable people who are missing. They can be doing a 50 mile drive to do a rescue.
They don’t even claim any expenses such as petrol so every penny raised will go towards training and essential equipment.
