The Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann has been an active
supporter of the ShelterBox Charity for many years, providing emergency
shelter and lifesaving supplies around the world for families who have lost
everything. The people of Haiti require this support right now after the devastating
effect of the Hurricane.
Each large ShelterBox is a disaster relief tent for an extended
family and contains household essentials and much more, offering day to day
living. The Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann has already sent one
ShelterBox to Haiti but this donation from the Peel Charity Shop will mean many
more families have the hope of survival.
