Horwich Charter Night 2008
President Bill attended the Rotary Club of Horwich Charter Night on the 1st May, 2008 accompanied by President Elect John Davies, Past President David North and Rotarian Bob Dowty Sr.
In the afternoon before the dinner, the usual visit was made to the top of Winter Hill for a short service of rememberance and the placing of a wreath.

Community Service Committee is involved in several major Club initiatives such as the Rudolph visits at Christmas to local Primary Schools. The Committee is also responsible for the annual Mini Parish Fun Walk.

Foundation Committee is involved with Rotary's own Charity and is largely a fund raising body and organises events throughout the year such as the annual Quiz Night. The Committee has a particular focus on supporting Rotary's End Polio campaign
