On Thursday 2nd March 2023 President Brian Johnson took the meeting as he welcomed 17 Rotarians to this our lunch time meeting held at the Gilvenbank Hotel, Glenrothes.
Wilna Roger advised that the three main High School competitions were now complete and had been very successful.
Anne Sampson mentioned that the Primary School Quiz will take place tonight Thursday 2nd March at Auchmuty HS, with 13 Primary schools having responded,
President Brian Johnson mentioned the collection on Saturday 25th February at Cadham shops had raised £193 and we would again have the charity bucket collection for Turkey/Syrian earthquake on Saturday 4th March at Kingdom Centre from 10am to 4pm where monetary donations for the Disaster can be given.
Chantal Mrimi advised she had been speaking to Pam Kirkham of John Fergus about the Sensory Garden Project.
Marilyn Robertson advised that Love Oliver were working together with John Fergus with regards to obtaining sensory toys for them. Marilyn again mentioned that Kirkcaldy Golf Club were hosting a Curry and Comedy night in support of Love Oliver on the 31st March cost of tickets £25 and she was looking for Rotary to take a table.
David Cooper mentioned FORP and the Riverside Park where a well being walk had been established.
Linda Ballingall spoke about the heritage centre closing with a lot of the artifacts eventually being displayed in the Rothes Halls. Unfortunately many of the items they have will not be displayed and she will be looking for “a home” for them. IF interested contact Linda.
Scott Galloway once again mentioned the Race night to be held at Gilvenbank Hotel on Friday 7th April - 6.30 for 7pm in support of Fife Gingerbread and Autism Rocks. Tickets priced at £15.
