Evening meeting - Quiz Night

On Thursday 25th August 2022 President Brian Johnson, welcomed 42 people which included 16 club Rotarians, Assistant Zone Governor Libby Seath, and Rotarians from the Carnegie club and guests to this our evening meeting held at the Gilvenbank Hotel.

President Brian had the pleasure of inducting new member Derek Stahly as a member prior to the buffet.

Our Fundraising Quiz night which was compered by Rotarians Eoin and Marilyn Robertson was an evening of fun with the Carnegie Club from Dunfermline winning.

The Big Hoose project has been organised for this coming week 31st August and 2nd September.

This coming Thursday evening 1st September 8 club members travel to Memorial Hall in Methil, to participate in the first round of this years Gavel competition.

Many thanks to David Cooper who advised that he had received sizeable donations of foodstuffs from his neighbours which he would take to the Glenrothes Community health and sports hub on Friday.

Next week 1st September will be a lunch time meeting at Gilvenbank Hotel meeting at 12.45pm and commencing at 1.00pm with a speaker Liddy Laird speaking about the Uphill trust.
