On Thursday 2nd June President Brian Johnson welcomed 13 club Rotarians and 2 guests, President of Burntisland and Kinghorn, David Kelley and Syeeda Ramzan from Hammy’s convenience store in Cadham to this our lunch time meeting held at the Gilvenbank hotel.
This meeting was used to discuss club business and the forthcoming garden party (now passed) in Walter Fletchers Garden to mark the Queens Jubilee on Sunday 5th June 2022. Discussion also took place about our involvement in the district 1010 conference to be held over the 17th and 18th June in the Rothes Halls, Glenrothes.
President of Burntisland and Kinghorn, David Kelley brought greetings from his club and spoke about his clubs forthcoming Charter dinner.
Geoff Sampson advised that the next round of the Gavel competition, where a team of 4 will participate against Alloa and Anstruther Rotary Clubs will take place next Wednesday 8th June at the Gilvenbank hotel commencing at 6.30pm.
This coming week Thursday 9th June 2022 is a lunchtime meeting commencing at 1pm prompt which is the club’s assembly where club President Brian Johnson and to be President again for a second year along with incoming senior vice President Scott Galloway will lay our their plans for the forthcoming year.
