On Thursday 6th January 2022 President Brian Johnson. welcomed 14 Club Rotarians, to this our first lunch time meeting of the New Year held at the Gilvenbank Hotel.

There were 5 apologies for nonattendance.

With their being no speakers this week this gave us the opportunity to trial a Hybrid meeting when Secretary Anne Sampson successfully set up a computer audio, screen and ZOOM link from the hotel with Walter Fletcher who was at home. He was able to participate in the meeting and view and hear everybody in attendance.

President Brian Johnson advised that he had visited various community groups prior to Christmas, Gilvenhouse, The Farmhouse, Leslie Community Pantry, Muirhead Outreach, Fife Women’s Aid with food parcels including toiletries and had also given some support to ADRA (Alexander Road and Dovecot Tenants and Residents Association). Scott Galloway had been in contact with Fife Gingerbread whom we have also supported again this year. As part of our Christmas appeal, we sent £300 to each of the following community groups Leslie Community Pantry, Fife Gingerbread appeal, Muirhead Outreach, Fife Women's Aid, YMCA, Love Oliver

A Prize draw for the Reindeer Hunt was held and FORP would like to thank everyone who participated and hope they enjoyed seeing the lovely reindeer and solving the puzzle correctly.
