This week was purely a business meeting where Chantal Mrimi updated us on the purchase and distribution of the Crocus bulbs of which 1000 have already been given to Auchmuty High School for planting and discussion on planting also at the Lomond Centre, Many thanks to Fife Council for arranging to light up the sculpture Heritage Totems beside the viewing platform opposite Lidl at the top of Riverside Park which have been illuminated in purple in aid of World End Polio day (Sunday 24th October) over a couple of days. We erected a banner which sadly after a day was ripped from the structure, sadly another example of needless vandalism in the town.
Iain Oates mentioned that 30 sapling plants will be delivered to us between the 1-12th November for planting.
President Brian Johnson mentioned about the cleaning of the Mosaic at Riverside Park last Thursday afternoon.
Anne Sampson mentioned about the Enchanted Garden at the Riverside Park.
The annual Peace Walk will take place on Wednesday evening 10th November 2021 with Rotarians starting off from Auchmuty High School this year.
