Rotary Elgin Bonfire & Fireworks Night 2025 – A Fantastic Community Celebration!

What a night!
Rotary Elgin’s annual Bonfire & Fireworks Night lit up Cooper Park on Saturday 1st November 2025, as thousands of families came together to enjoy one of Moray’s favourite community traditions.

We were delighted to see such an incredible turnout – the park was filled with smiles, laughter, and the warmth of community spirit. The Herchers funfair, local food stalls, and the spectacular fireworks display from Fireworx Scotland Ltd made it a night to remember for all ages.

A huge thank you goes out to all our sponsors, partners, and volunteers who made this event possible. We’re especially grateful to Out of the Darkness Theatre Company for once again creating our amazing “Guy” – this year with a fantastic Halloween twist that really captured the spirit of the night!

We’d also like to thank the local businesses who supported us behind the scenes and everyone who donated on the night or via text. Your generosity helps to fund this much-loved community event each year – ensuring it remains free for everyone to enjoy.

The Bonfire & Fireworks Night is one of Rotary Elgin’s biggest projects, and it wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of our local community.

Mark your calendars – we’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year on Saturday 7th November 2026, same time, same place!
