RYLA Mentor - Ellen Barclay

Tonights speaker was Ellen Barclay who had been to RYLA in 2018 and this year returned as a mentor. Her talk demonstrated all the skills she had learnt at RYLA and put into practice to become a junior doctor and how her intention had been to give back to those at RYLA as a mentor. It was inspiring to hear her say her confidence had improved, she had learnt how to become a leader, how to support others and most importantly as a mentor make all RYLA participants believe in themselves. She declared she was still benefitting, and it was definitely worth Rotary sponsoring candidates.
