Belize with Interact
Thursday 25 July
The speaker this week was Maisie Anderson, who is Treasurer of the Lincoln Woodstock Interact Club, New Hampshire, USA. Maisie is the niece of our Immediate Past President Michelle Anderson and is in the UK visiting her grandparents along with her dad Stuart, mum Annie and her twin brothers Ian and Camden who are also members of the Interact Club. Stuart is a member and past president of the Lincoln Woodstock Rotary Club.
Maisie was selected by her club to attend a humanitarian project in Belize during the last week of February 2024. The trip involved assisting in the painting and roofing of wooden shacks at three schools in an area of Belize, work on the project was carried out in the mornings allowing for activities in the afternoon.
Maisie gave a very confident and interesting presentation on her experience.
