Community Flowerbed
West End Flowerbed Improvements Summer 2018
Elgin Rotary Community Team have recently completed the installation of 3 standing stones providing a lasting feature to the entrance to Elgin from the west at the flowerbed located at the corner of Morriston Road and the A96 junction. Gavin Tennant provided both the local quarried stones and haulage to assist with the placing of the stones. Community Convenor Dave Mitchell, Iain Jamieson and Kenny Munro prepared the bed and finishing touches.
Elgin Rotary has been working in partnership with SPICE (Strategic Partnership for the Improvement of the City of Elgin) over the last three years to look after the flowerbed and help make improvements. Alastair Kennedy from SPICE and his wife Sheila have recently completed the summer planting’.
