Rotary Elgin supports International Projects either directly or by supporting other Rotary Clubs’ initiatives.
Water Projects in Nepal
Since 2003 Rotary Elgin, with the support of other Clubs, has enhanced the lives of over 10,000 villagers in Nepal through Water, Health and Sanitation Projects.
Proposed Project:
With an anticipated starting this autumn a project at Labdur Khola, 160 miles east of Kathmandu will benefit 1,079 people in 175 households, 2 schools with 400 pupils and 3 health points.
Shelterbox
Whenever disaster or disease strike, Rotary Elgin, with the support of the people of Moray, is ready to respond – whether for direct aid, purchasing Shelterboxes or supplying Shoeboxes.

Recently, in July 2026, a donation of £1,000 was made to Shelterboxes following the devastating earthquake in Venezuela.
