An Evening of Exceptional Musical Talent

We are delighted to announce the winner of this year’s Rotary Young Musician Competition, held on Friday 14 November at the beautiful St Hilda's Priory, Whitby.

Congratulations to JAMES HORNER

James delivered an exceptional violin performance, demonstrating technical skill and emotional depth far beyond his years.

We extend our sincere thanks to our adjudicator, Steven Maxson, Director of Music at Middlesbrough Cathedral, for his professional insight and thoughtful guidance throughout the evening.

We congratulate James and all the talented young performers who took part. Each performance was a pleasure to hear, contributing to a memorable celebration of emerging musical talent.

We look forward to welcoming you to next year’s event.
