September Saunter 2025 Report

Despite the wettest day we have had in over 20 years for any of our walks, this was a successful event!

There were fewer entries, for some reason, but almost all turned up despite the persistent rain.

We were also pleased that a family with young children completed the Short Saunter. Dad walked it with his children, while Mum and Grandma walked the Long route.

We thank Leyburn High School for allowing us to use their premises, and big thanks to the Rotarians and friend helpers that braved the weather.

Thanks also to Rotarians Richard Pennell and Chris Wheatley for the photographs.

While the event is not a race here are the tabulated results - click HERE

The event has made over £900, which will be used to support our charities and local worthy causes.
