Charter 2008

The Annual Charter Dinner held on 27th June at Wensleydale Creamery was again a success, with a total of 83 Rotarians, partners and friends attending. Ten other Rotary Clubs were represented. President Bob Hughes presented a cheque to Ann Bancroft in aid of "Impact", the train which travels to remote areas of India carrying medical facilities, allowing eye operations to be performed. The money had been raised at the Keith Bancroft Rotary Walk, in memory of District Governor Keith Bancroft, who died in 2007.
