Sally Lane and Lucy Porter shared their experiences from the amazing time they had in Ecuador. Highlights of their talk to us included:
Telling us about the Octopus Houses they made and put in the sea around the coast.
Working high up in the Andes, where breathing was challenging
and working in the Amazon rain forest helping to replant areas where de-forestation had taken place!
Both Sally and Lucy said the experience had altered their perception of life and made them realise how lucky they are living in Wensleydale.
It was a real pleasure to see and hear what an amazing adventure they had during their stay. We wish them both well for where ever their future may take them.
