We always knew that it was easier to extract teeth than to extract money from Rotary President, John Flintoft.
So, local dental nurses Courtney and Lauren were ideally qualified when they each received a donation of £500* from Rotary in support of their July trip with 'Dentaid' to Malawi, where they wil provide dental services to local communities.
They each have to raise £3,000 to cover the costs of the trip and the Rotary donation will help them on their way.
If you would like to help them, their 'Just Giving' pages can be found at:
* The donation included funding from the Timothy Giddings legacy. This legacy was left to the club to support its local charity and community initiatives.
