Rotary donation of £1,000 to support the work of Kirkham Henry Performing Arts Centre
Following a recent visit to the club by Angela Kirkham, Principal at Kirkham Henry Performing Arts Centre, we were delighted to make a donation of £1,000 towards the refurbishment of the access to the KH premises... as described below:
"We’d like to thank Pickering Rotary club for their generous £1000 donation towards the resurfacing of the back entrance/ exit to KH. Also to the generosity of Thackray and sons for promptly supplying the support and workforce to enable the resurfacing to take place asap. This means a safer surface for all our wheelchair dancers, together with those using mobility scooters and aids, pushchairs and all our Pupils and KH families.This will help so much as we submit new plans for the changing rooms and accessibility into the studios."
