We had a great evening at the Woodlands Hotel, celebrating the life of Robert Burns.
Gordon Wallace and Rev Leslie Barrett piped in the Haggis, and David Thomson addressed our Haggis.
Slekirk Grace was given by Joint President David Reid before we enjoyed Cock-a-Leekie Soup, Haggis, Neeps and Tatties, and Cranachan and drinks.
Pipe Music and music from Bill Barr, Ron Elder, and Mary Veal were enjoyed during the interval.
Tam o' Shanter came to life in the expert hands and voice of David Thomson. Jill Harrison, accompanied by Mary Veal on Clarsach, sang a selection of Burns songs.
The Immortal Memory was given by Ian Nimmo White, who divulged some secrets of Burns' life.
Everyone enjoyed a fabulous evening of entertainment, and Ron MacWalter gave a Vote of Thanks.
