| Our next social meeting is a visit to Dawes Twineworks, the evening will consist of a tour followed by food. Usually they offer a free glass of wine with a meal, then any additional glass they ask for a donation.
In terms of access to the village during the A30 resurfacing/closure. There will be manned gates at either end of the village, anyone wanting access just need to say they are attending an event at Dawes Twineworks. The address for Dawes Twineworks is 94 High Street, West Coker BA22 9AU. What3words for the turn in off the high street is https://w3w.co/waggled.perfectly.baseballs. When approaching along the A30 from the Crewkerne side the Twineworks is on the left & the Car Park is signposted to the left of the sign. For a picture of the entrance see attachment. |
