Rotary Young Leaders Award RYLA

An amazing opportunity for young people who are studying or at the start of their working lives to develop invaluable skills

Rotary Young Leaders Award or RYLA is a week-long Professional Development course for people between 18-26  who are either studying, just starting their careers, or maybe wondering what life holds for them next.

It is held at Grafham Water and consists of a mixture of outdoor activities and indoor study and project sessions, all of which are aimed to develop leadership, self confidence, and team working skills.

It is professionally led by tutors employed by Cambridgeshire County Council and is fully residential.

Each year a number of candidates attend from Bury St Edmunds, some are sponsored by the club, and others are supported by their employers, or their parents.  We have a long history of success with attendees reporting increased confidence, effectiveness and seeing positive impacts on their careers.
