Our annual Burns Night Supper and dance was held at the fantastic Guildhall on 31st January. .Around 60 people attended. The Hagggis was piped in in the traditional way and the Ode to the Haggis by Robert Burns recited. The guests then enjoyed a delicious Haggis supper followed by Cranachan , and the dancing commenced, led by Susie Marshall and Alison Fuller of the Bury St Edmunds Reel Society. Although not always pretty, the dancing was enjoyed with great gusto and smiling faces, the evening ended with a rousing rendition of Auld Lang Syne . In addition to providing a great fun evening, the event raised over £500 which will be donted to our local charity partners.
