Young Photographer Competition for ages 11-17 Theme Wonderful Water


The Rotary Young Photographer Competition gives the opportunity for young pople between the ages of 11 and 17 to test out their skills. The Bury St Edmunds Heat comes with local prizes and the chance to be entered in the national competition. In the last 3 years young photographers from Bury St Edmunds have won Regional and National prizes, and have been inspired to take further studies in Photography. No special equipment is needed many prizewinners took their winning photos on a phone or tablet.!

The theme is WONDERFUL WATER - the pigeon in the shot above obviously thinks that water is indeed wonderful, but you can take any interpretation on the theme you wish.

All you need to do is e mail your photo which must be at least 1500pixels along its longest edge to

Alongside the competition we are also running a free Photography workshop for young people during October Half Term. Booking is essential via the Whats on in West Suffolk Website
