17 charities and many of the club's corporate supporters attended our Charity awards night where much of the £45,000 raised this year was donated to our chosen charities. The event took the form of an exhibition in the Guildhall where the charities showcased their activities. Jill Badman club president then led a short series of presentations explaining what we do as a club and how our fundraising is acheived. Jill thanked the charities for all their hard work in supporting the community and the whole club for the magnificent fundraising effort this year, and most importantly our corporate sponsors without whom much of this would not be possible.
