As well as fund raising, we enjoy a whole range of social activities.
The Rotary Club of Torbay Sunrise is an active and vibrant club where members like to enjoy their membership and have fun.
In addition to our weekly get togethers, we arrange other social events such as:
- Quiz nights, meals out, theatre, speaker dinners and much more
- Each month we compete against other local Rotary clubs at fun sports events such as skittles, darts, bowling, golf etc.
- We regularly join up with other clubs for black tie dinners, balls, BBQs, lunches and casino nights
'What We Do' Main Pages:
Hundreds of children every year look forward to seeing Santa at our Christmas Grotto in Fleetwalk, Torquay. This event is organised and run by volunteers and associates of our club, raising money and creating memories.

This has been a major feature on Babbacombe Downs for many years attracting thousands of visitors for the benefit of residents, dog owners, local businesses, stall holders and charities alike.

In conjunction with Space and Mencap, we help produce this festival which is aimed at young adults with learning difficulties so they can enjoy a 'Glastonbury style' music festival that's safe, friendly and fun for all.

We join forces with other Rotary Clubs to provide support via Shelterbox for those suffering from major disasters abroad.

Over the last 5 years, we've raised over £50K which has benefited many local communities including Mencap, Space, Children's Hospice and many more.
