Urgent Lebanon Appeal

March 2026

ShelterBox is launching an urgent fundraising appeal in response to the crisis in Lebanon, where hundreds of thousands of people are fleeing their homes as deadly airstrikes continue across the Middle East.

Countless homes have been destroyed, forcing families to live in places like schools and other communal shelters set up by the government, or makeshift shelters. Some are still sleeping outdoors, too afraid to remain in residential areas because of ongoing strikes.

We are partnering with an organisation in Lebanon to provide families with essential items such as blankets, mattresses, food containers, solar lights, kitchen sets, and hygiene kits.

These items are vital for people to stay warm at night, store and cook what little food they may have, and maintain basic hygiene in crowded shelters.

We last responded in Lebanon in 2024 and we will draw on all that expertise and experience to support displaced families again.

Please consider supporting this appeal with your Rotary club so that we can provide emergency aid and essential items to people left with nowhere to live across the Middle East.

Thank you
