Fortrose Academy

Round 1 competition

Our Master Chef Competition started on Wednesday the 18th of September in Fortrose Academy.

The Home Economics teacher there, Sebastian Gaik, produced three excellent students who each cooked a two-course meal for the judge who was Alex Henderson, Head Chef at the Newhall Mains Hotel, Balblair.

Alex thought that the students did extremely well and complemented them all on their cooking skills.

He chose Jasper Thomas, aged 15 years, as the winner and Jasper will go forward into round 2 of the competition.

The next school to take part in the competition is Charleston Academy on Friday 20th September
