Inverness Culloden Rotary Club has raised and donated £500 to The Oxygen Works (Registered Charity SC020475 MS Therapy Centre Inverness Ltd).

This is a much-needed donation and the centre is grateful to The Inverness Culloden Rotary Club for considering The Oxygen Works to be the beneficiary of this donation.

There is the perception that The Oxygen Works is funded by NHS Highland, when in fact it is not, it is donations like this that keep the centre open and allows it to continue its good work in the community.

As well as offering various treatments, the centre is a hub for many people, a lifeline for them, somewhere for them to meet and in some cases is the centre of their world.

It is a lifeline centre that is under appreciated and underfunded, any donation to the good works carried out there would be greatly appreciated.

Commenting Leigh-Ann Little Said:

"The Oxygen Works are delighted to have the support of the Rotary Club Inverness Culloden and we are hugely grateful for the very generous donation.

“Our Deputy Manager, Beth was invited along to a meeting with the Rotary Club in July where she learned more about what the Club do and also had the opportunity to demonstrate the work that we undertake at The Oxygen Works.

“Working in partnership with organisations like the Rotary Club Inverness Culloden is of huge value and importance to us as it allows us to be a truly community focused business and able to signpost other support or social opportunities to our own membership."

James Milton President of Inverness Culloden Rotary Club added:

“We are delighted to present this cheque for £500 to The Oxygen Works, we have, over the years had a number of good causes that we have raised money for and none more deserving than The Oxygen Works.

“The benefits that people receive from the use of the centre are there for all to see and we are delighted to be involved in raising money for this good cause.

“The centre needs to raise more money so that in the coming years it can improve the facilities and the services that they offer, hopefully our donation is a stepping stone on the road to raising all the funding they need for the future.”
