Once again, we were lucky with the weather - dry and hot but with occasional gusty wind. Despite this the scores were average for recent tournaments. As in previous years the format was Teams of four players. The competition was played in the Stableford format off a full valid club handicap adjusted for Slope. The two best scores per hole counted on the first nine holes, the three best scores on the next six holes and all four scores on the last three holes.
Other than the outright winner the top scores were all bunched together in the mid 90's up to 101. In order to separate the first and second place teams a count of the scores on the back 9 was undertaken and the ensuing result was: -
| Place | Team | Score |
| 1 | Watson Batty | 102 and 62 on the back 9 |
| 2 | Alastair Bateman's Team | 102 and 61 on the back 9 |
| 3 | Zenith International | 101 |
| Nearest the Pin | Steve Douglas of Meredith's Marvels | 2.6 Metres from the pin |
| Straightest Drive | Arthur Ramsey | On the 11th - 50cm from the rope |
Raffle prizes went to Richard Merrill, Peter Olney, Barry Smith, John Watson, Tariq Javaid and S Armitage.
Thanks to those entering teams (some of whom have been supporting the event since it started). Thanks also to our sponsors: -
Particular thanks go to Ilkley Golf Club for their continuing generosity in allowing us to hold the event on their wonderful course.
The event raised almost £4,000 for charitable causes.
