Charity Golf Tournament at Ilkley Golf Club

Wed, Jun 18th 2025 at 9:00 am - 8:00 pm

We will hold our 33rd annual golf tournament at Ilkley Golf Club. There will be no meeting at Northcliffe Golf Club. Funds raised to date are almost £200,000

Bradford Blaize Charity Golf Day

As in previous years the format is Teams of four players. The entry fee is £325 for a team of 4 and includes the green fee, coffee, half-way house refreshments and a barbeque meal. There are attractive prizes for the best 3 teams, Nearest the Pin and Straightest Drive.

The course was designed with input from Dr. Alister Mackenzie,  then a member of Ilkley Golf Club who went on to design many other premier courses, including assisting Bobby Jones in the design of Augusta National Club, home of the US Masters Golf tournament.

The competition is played in the Stableford format off a full valid club handicap adjusted for Slope. The two best scores per hole counted on the first nine holes, the three best scores on the next six holes and all four scores on the last three holes.

Thanks to those entering teams (some of whom have been supporting the event since it started). In particular thanks go to Ilkley Golf Club for their generosity in allowing us to hold the event on their wonderful course. Also our sponsors.
