We held our 29th Charity Golf tournament at Ilkley Golf Club, one of the best golf courses in Yorkshire. The last time the event was held in 2019 we raised £5,200 for
Local and other Rotary charities. Local charities that have benefitted
over the last 12 month include Bradford
Metropolitan Food Bank, Marie Curie (Hospice), Martin House Hospice, No Child Cold Campaign, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Embrace Child Victims of Crime, Children's Heart Surgery Fundand the RNLI.
The course was designed with input from Dr. Alister Mackenzie, then a member of Ilkley Golf Club who went on to design many other premier courses, including assisting Bobby Jones in the design of Augusta National Club, home of the US Masters Golf tournament.
Thanks must go to those entering teams (some of whom have been supporting the event since it started). In particular thanks go to Ilkley Golf Club for their generosity in allowing us to hold the event on their wonderful course and also our sponsors.
There were be prizes for the first 4 teams plus individual prizes for "Nearest the Pin" and "Straightest Drive".
If you wish to participate in future please see the click on invitation letter and an entry form: -
