RYLA candidate Grace Law - On day 1 participants undertake Ice Breakers this one involved rolling over one another

RYLA candidate Grace Law - Course director Rotarian Lucy Hodgson's version of an Ice Breaker is to shower the group with cold water

RYLA candidate Grace Law - One Ice Breaker involves the group holding a rope while 2 of their number walk around it

RYLA candidate Grace Law - Anybody who is late getting up or attending a task is given Kangaroo Hops as Punishment

RYLA candidate Grace Law - Before being split into teams the whole group is given the task of building a bridge over the lawn. It's a disaster

RYLA candidate Grace Law - On day 2 the group is split into 4 teams of 8. Their first task is to rescue this pretend victim off a mountain

RYLA candidate Grace Law - Day 2 also sees an auction where the team must bid for items to build a shelter where they will sleep for the night

Grace Law our RYLA candidate for 2015 made her presentation to the club about her experiences at RYLA from the 26th to the 31st of July. She was ably supported by her mentor Neville Oughtibridge as well as Carol from the Girls Brigade and her Blaize co-ordinator John Waterhouse.

Rotary is not just about doing good deeds but also about enjoying yourself and this committee organises social activities. This page contains an archive of some of our activities.

Fund Raising

This committee works with the other committees to help them raise funds for their individual projects to support charities locally, nationally and internationally.

Charitable Trust Fund

This is the vehicle that donates the money that we have raised to the various good causes that we support. Its official name is The Rotary Club Of Bradford Blaize Trust Fund and its registered number with the Charity Commission is 514621.

Club Administration

This committee organises social events and deals with the day to day running of the club.

PR, Internet and Other Communications

This committee exists to provide PR and communications between the members and also to provide links to non members through the web site and Facebook.
